HP Chromebook X2

Hp on Monday announced the the ‘World’s First Detachable Chrome OS Machine’ in the form of the HP Chromebook x2.

The Chromebook x2 has been priced starting at $599.99 (roughly Rs. 39,000) and is said to be made available via HP.com and will go on sale June 10.

The device can either be used like a conventional laptop with the keyboard attached, or with the keyboard removed in tablet mode.

The HP Chromebook x2 has a 12.3-inch, 2400×1600 resolution IPS display. The display has support for a stylus and it comes bundled with the HP Active Pen. Another thing that’s included is the keyboard dock, which includes a full-size keyboard, trackpad and B&O speaker system.

HP is promising that the Chromebook x2, which is a bit thicker and heavier than the iPad Pro, will deliver 10.5 hours of battery life.

“As the world’s first Chromebook detachable, it will unlock new ways for people to create, collaborate and consume within Chrome and the Google Play Store.
